Miranda’s musical journey is one of persistence and passion which began at an early age. At 13 her talents earned her a position as the opening act for country music legend Kitty Wells. She has since pressed forward, ambitiously pursuing a musical career and has toured the sunshine state with a variety of live bands and performing arts troupes. She has also enjoyed entertaining beyond her native state in places like Chicago, Michigan and South Carolina.For her latest endeavor, Miranda redefines her multifaceted style by finding essence in the strong women that influenced her as a child, like Eartha Kitt and Ella Fitzgerald, and incorporates her admiration into her song selections. She has remained an entertainment favorite as the audience proclaimed “Siren of Swing” presenting a mixture of modern sounds with jazz era nostalgia.
Additionally, she was included among the lineup for the 2016 Ocala/ Gainesville “Jazz on the Green” festival and was the honorary first ever opening act for the Ocala Symphony Orchestra’s “Symphony Under the Stars” 2018 Mother’s Day celebration.
Having established a niche in the jazz community, she has captured the attention of seasoned jazz professionals beyond her hometown and is now further evolving toward a new creative chapter.
