2) Tamika Franklyn - Founder - Precision Franchise LLC,
Founder of Precision Franchise LLC, guiding aspiring entrepreneurs in owning proven model businesses. I have access to several hundred Franchise Businesses and Opportunities where I provide 1:1 consultations to determine the best business model for your lifestyle and goals, preparing you with introductions to the franchisors.
The reason why I am so passionate about this business is because of the lucrative opportunities that are available in this space.
I realized that no one I knew personally was familiar with this path of business ownership and needed help understanding why. I then came to realize that one of the key reasons was that there weren't many people who looked like me actually educating my community on this successful path to business ownership. This made me passionate to become visible in this space and take this knowledge back to women and people of color, as we only make up 28% of this industry so that they can understand that owning a Franchise or Proven Business Models is well within their grasp and I can help them do it!
3) Jerome Leake - Supercuts and Jeremiah’s Italian Ice Franchisee
Jerome Leake has over 25 years of retail leadership experience in roles ranging from multi-unit operations to retail concept design and project management. He understands that people are the single most valuable asset to any organization.
In 2020, after years of working for various companies, he found himself furloughed and out of work. He was in a different place in his life, and he knew it was time for him to take a leap of faith.
In 2021, he and his wife decided to form their own company, and Leake Enterprises LLC was born. He started by opening two Supercuts franchise salons in Houston, Texas.
They have successfully owned and operated their own salons for the past three years. They have also started another company called JATY ICE LLC, where they purchased an up-and-coming dessert franchise called Jeremiah’s Italian Ice. They plan to open their first Jeremiah’s Italian Ice unit in Houston, Texas, in early 2025.
