About this Event

MinnPost Festival is an all-day event featuring insightful conversations and community that will bring together the people and ideas shaping the future of Minnesota and beyond.

You'll hear conversations with political and cultural leaders, both national and local, that will enlighten and energize a diverse audience of policymakers, industry leaders, educators, citizens, students, thought leaders and advocates. Festivities will kick off at 11:30 a.m. and the closing keynote will end around 6:00 p.m.

All-access passes are $50, but we're offering the following discounts:

  • Early Bird discount: Tickets are just $35 until Sept. 18
  • Nonprofit, government, students and education professionals: 30% off discount ($35/pass). You'll be asked to provide your affiliation or school when you register.

No matter how you register or at what amount, you're supporting MinnPost’s nonprofit newsroom and keeping our in-depth local coverage freely available to our community — no paywall, no subscriptions.

Announced programming includes:

Profile in Courage: The Twin Cities Edition: the story of the year told by the people who lived it: Imam Yusuf Abdulle, COPAL's Carolina Ortiz, and Columbia Heights Superintendent Zena Stenvik, the local leaders now being recognized nationally for their response to the federal enforcement operation that swept the Twin Cities.

Regime Change: Jonathan Swan on the Imperial Presidency: Jonathan Swan of The New York Times joins us fresh off "Regime Change," his bestselling book with Maggie Haberman on the inside workings of the Trump White House.

The Cost of Civic Arrogance: Joe Thompson, the federal prosecutor behind the Feeding Our Future case, sits down for a candid conversation about accountability and what it costs.

Check out our festival website for more programming as it's announced!
