On behalf of the Twin Cities shape note community, co-chairs Alec Jenkins-White and Suzanne McFate look forward to welcoming you for singing and fellowship. There will be a singing school Friday night, and a social gathering on Saturday night, in addition to all-day singings Saturday and Sunday. ACCESSIBILITY: Please see the website page for this event at https://mnfasola.org/?page_id=837 for full specifics of parking locations, etc. Both singing venues have wheelchair-accessible entrances and wheelchair-accessible bathrooms with grab bars, all within short distances to the singing spaces on the same floor. Accessible parking is available in close adjacent lots or nearby streets. We do our best to make our spaces navigable for those with mobility equipment, and we provide "sensory break" rooms for those who need a rest from the intensity of singing. Our Chairs and Navigators are available to help with any access needs that arise during the singing.
All events of the weekend are FRAGRANCE-FREE. We ask everyone not to wear perfume/cologne; strongly scented lotions or other products for hair or skin; or clothes recently laundered with scented dryer sheets, fabric softener or “boosters”.
