After a storming debut with us at Bongo last November, MiNNA makes her much-anticipated return to Club_Nacht x Hobbes Music this September, primed once again to take The Bongo Club on a ride through her kaleidoscopic, effervescent sound. Her style moves fluidly between deep, rolling house, disco flavours and head-turning curveballs, delivered with the kind of precision and playfulness that keeps a floor spellbound.
Hailing from London, MiNNA has been building proper momentum as one of the UK’s most exciting new selectors. Lighting up clubs and festivals throughout Europe (Paradiso, Shelter, The Rex, Pikes, Hï, Heidegluehen, Glitterbox, Motion, Fabric, Koko, Lost Village, Houghton, Glastonbury), her sets are celebrated for their sharp energy shifts and knack for balancing familiarity with surprise. There’s a rare instinct in the way she reads a room, carrying dancers from wide-eyed anticipation to full-throttle release without ever losing the thread.
Her return to the Bongo feels like the next step in a story still unfolding. Nearly three decades in, the club remains Edinburgh’s underground stronghold, with the Danley system opening up her disco selections - glittering highs, rolling grooves and every detail shining clear.
