Minis at the Hill
Is a hillclimb event being held on Saturday 2 November. The day before Minis at the Mill.
A hillclimb is where competitors race up a 750m narrow winding track against the clock to get the best time. There will be plenty of action and it’s good fun.
The hillclimb is being run by our friends at the Nissan Datsun Car Club (NDCC) who generously allow Minis to join them on the day.
Entries for existing motorsport licence holders will be via the Motorsport Australia portal. Come and try entries are available.

When: Saturday 2nd November 2024. Gates open at 8am and the event will probably run until about 4pm.
Where: Collingrove Hillclimb Circuit, Mt McKenzie in the Barossa Valley about 7 km from Angaston (refer to map and information from the SCCSA website)
There is designated parking for spectators, but you are more than welcome to wander in and set up in the competitors area. Just look for the Minis and Mokes.
Cost: Entry fee for existing Motorsport Australia licence holders $110. Event entry is via Motorsport Australia https://motorsport.org.au/
Come and try entrants should contact NDCC.

What to bring: A canteen will be open, but we suggest bringing a chair, shelter, hat, sunscreen, other drinks and snacks etc.
How to view the action: There are lots of vantage points, like next to the starting line, up the hill, but please stay on the track as snakes have been sighted in the area.
