Burpee is offering in-person Boy Scout classes. (Subject to COVID allowances)Be prepared to learn all about minerals, rocks, and what's deep inside our Earth. Mining has been an important part of our nation since the 19th century. Using the museum's exhibits, and specimens from Collections, learn about the history of mining, mining careers, and safety.
During the date of the final class component, scouts choosing to participate in-person will be socially distanced in our large Riverview Auditorium for activities and discussions. During the summer, virtual classes can be scheduled individually (with a parent or guardian present), in a small group, or as a whole troop! Online classes are by request.
Preregistration and prepayment are required for all scout workshops.
