Miniature Furniture with Nicolette

Attendees will construct new furniture, repair and modify existing miniature furniture suitable for dollhouses or display. We will practice woodworking, painting and upholstery techniques to create adorable furniture. This class is suitable for all ages but if you’re younger than 10 please bring an adult with you!
Each attendee will select a piece of furniture to either construct or modify. If new construction, follow instructions on the package and modify as desired. If you’ve selected a piece of furniture in need of repair, identify what repairs are needed and plan the improvements you’d like to make. Use wood glue on a paintbrush or glue gun to make necessary repairs. Use binder clips or clothespins to hold glued furniture together while drying. Paint furniture the desired color and add embellishments and decorations as desired. Add upholstery using fabric glue or scrapbooking paper.
