Re-connect to yourself and the rhythms of the natural world on this special guided Forest Therapy walk with Diane Pienta.
In ancient times, the Winter Solstice was celebrated with in with the Tree Spirits – burning yule logs to bring back the Light or enacting the struggle between the Holly Tree (darkness) and the Oak Tree (returning Light).
We’ll meet at the Acushnet River Sawmill parking lot (32 Mill Road, Acushnet) at 10AM as we welcome Winter and the return of the Sun with our own local forest beings. Dress Warmly!
🥣 11:45 – 1:30 Soup Lunch & Reflection at North Star Yoga
After the walk, gather at 156 River Road, New Bedford, for a nourishing soup lunch, followed by a community circle to reflect on our journeys with guided journaling prompts, creativity and sound healing.
📖 1:30 – 2:00 Manifest Your 2025
We’ll end the day envisioning the year ahead with a bioscalar meditation, sealing in intentions for the new year.
