Mini-Symposium on Nuclear Structure and Function

The Mini-Symposium on Nuclear Structure and Function: Chromosomes, Chromatin Protein and the Nuclear Lamina features talks by Drs. Ting Wu (Harvard), Daniel Barbash (Cornell), Kathy Wilson (Johns Hopkins), and Helen McNeill (WUSTL) in celebration of the career of Dr. Pamela Geyer. This event is free and open to the public.

Talks will take place in 2117 MERF.

• 11:15 am: "How common is meiotic drive?" by Daniel Barbash, PhD, Cornell University
• 3:00 pm: "Nuclear lamins and their partners in mitosis, tissue-specific disease, addiction, and beyond" by Katherine Wilson, PhD, Johns Hopkins University
• 3:45 pm: "The role of the nuclear envelope and NEMP in metazoan fertility and mechanotransduction" by Helen McNeill, PhD, Washington University in St. Louis
