Embroidery workshops with Julia Mekes.Have you always wanted to express your ideas in textile but didn’t know where to begin?
We will take it "a stitch at a time."
Julia is a textile artist and a museum docent. In a series of workshops dedicated purely to embroidery, she will take you from the most basic to intricate stitching techniques.
You will learn from historic samples and develop your own ideas in a suitable technique.
At the end of our mini embroidery school, you will have a number of samples that could be turned into pages of your own stitching book.
Subscriptions are open; we will begin when the first 6 participants show their interest.

No previous experience is required.
All materials are provided.
