Mini Cursed Creatures at The Pottery Shop (Town Square)
About this Event
Cursed Creatures: Mini Clay Class
A tiny trio with big personalities. Join us at The Pottery Shop in Town Square to make three delightfully strange clay creatures. Give each one a spooky expression, a silly shape, or a personality all its own. No experience is needed—we’ll guide you through it.
Your $30 ticket includes materials, instruction, firing, and both parts of the class for your set of three creatures.
Part 1: Make your creatures
Shape and add details to your trio. They’ll stay at the studio to dry and go through their first kiln firing.
Part 2: Add color
Return at the same time two weeks later to bring your creatures to life with color. If you can’t make the return session, our team will add color for you.
Good to know
Your pieces need another kiln firing after color is added, so you won’t take them home on class day. We’ll text you when they’re ready for pickup. Drying and firing times can vary, and we can’t guarantee they’ll be ready before Halloween.
Every creature is handmade, so finished results will vary. Clay can occasionally crack during drying or firing, and pieces may break in the kiln.
Important: This is a hands-on workshop and seating is reserved for participants. No spectators. All guests attending must have a paid reservation.
Important Things to Know
This is a beginner handbuilding experience — no pottery wheel.
Ceramics are an unpredictable medium, and we cannot guarantee that your piece will survive the drying, bisque firing or glaze firing process. Cracking, warping, separation, breakage and variations in shape or glaze can occur. Clay also shrinks approximately 15% from wet clay to the finished piece.
If your piece is not fire-able or does not survive the process, you may choose a finished piece as a memento of your session.
Class length is approximately 45 minutes–2 hours, depending on class size, skill level and project details. Classes begin and end at the published times.
