Mend your clothes with Sashiko! 🧵Sashiko is an ancient Japanese stitching technique that involves using a running stitch to join two pieces of fabric, making them more durable and adding decorative patterns.
This Mini Craft Session will give you an introduction to different aspects of mending and zero-waste sewing. The session is free and suitable for 16+. Booking is required.
📍The session will take place in the Lend & Mend area on the 1st floor of the AK Bell Library.
✅Before attending the session, all participants must complete a short Lend and Mend induction to become familiar with the space and equipment. You can schedule your induction and reserve a spot for the session in person at the library by contacting them at [email protected] or by calling 01738 444949.
