Our Mini 1 class focuses on developing fundamental swimming skills to help swimmers gain independence and confidence in the water. In this class, children will learn and practice essential techniques, including floating on their front and back, gliding through the water, rolling from back to front, and using kicking to propel themselves forward. These foundational skills are taught with an emphasis on safety and proper form. Mini 1 goals include:
1. Independent front glide
2. Assisted back glide
3. Roll from front to back
4. Roll from back to front
5. Jump in assisted and swim to safety
Swimmers must be able to perform all skills independently before advancing to Mini 2. This class is the perfect next step for young swimmers ready to build their abilities and take their swimming to the next level!
