Don’t miss out on this free, easy-to-access walking tour. Steps away from the restaurants and shops of downtown is a diversity of natural Mineral Springs each with its own history, medicinal uses, and geologic pasts starting over 40 million years ago. This program is offered in partnership with Tread of Pioneers Museum. All participants will receive a half-off coupon admission coupon to the Tread of Pioneers Museum for attendance.
What to expect/bring: This walking tour is slightly longer than 1 mile and starts at the Steamboat Creates Art Depot. Dress for the weather. You might want a light or rain jacket as the weather changes quickly here! A hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and comfortable walking shoes are a good idea as we will be walking without much shade. BRING WATER! There there is no easy access to drinking water.
Anyone is welcome on this tour, however, it is taught at an adult/young adult level of comprehension- young children may find much of the content difficult to understand.
