Have you ever looked at someone in your family and thought, "They have the look, the personality, the presence—they could be a model"?
The reality is that many people never pursue opportunities in modeling because they don't understand the industry, believe the stereotypes, or simply don't know where to begin. Others may be approached years later with an opportunity and still feel unprepared because no one ever taught them the business side of modeling.
TheMindset of a Model Bootcamp was created to change that.
This experience is designed for aspiring models ages 14 and up, as well as parents, grandparents, and family members who want to better understand the industry and the opportunities it can provide.
Unlike traditional modeling programs that focus on runway walking, acting, singing, or dancing, this bootcamp focuses on what is rarely taught—the business of modeling.
Participants will learn:
• How the modeling industry really works
• Understanding clients and what they are looking for
• Professional communication and etiquette
• Building self-confidence and self-esteem
• Developing a strong personal presence
• How to walk into any room with purpose and professionalism
• Creating opportunities through networking and relationships
• Understanding modeling as a business and career pathway
• Real-world skills that apply to school, college, careers, and everyday life
Modeling can be more than a dream—it can be a stepping stone. For some, it may provide opportunities to earn income for college tuition, gain valuable life experience, and develop skills that create success far beyond the industry itself.
As a former model who transitioned into the business side of modeling, I am grateful to share lessons, tools, and insights that can only be learned through experience. My goal is to help participants understand the industry while developing the confidence, communication skills, and professional mindset that will serve them throughout their lives.

AK Cruz is the Founder of Natori's Club Modeling & Talent Agency and the creator of the Mindset of a Model Bootcamp. Founded in 1999 in the New York/New Jersey area, Natori's Club was built on the belief that success in modeling comes from more than appearance—it comes from knowledge, professionalism, confidence, and understanding the business.
With more than 30 years of experience as an agent and facilitator, and an accomplished modeling career spanning even longer, AK Cruz has worked on major national campaigns and built a successful career in the fashion and beauty industries. Her portfolio includes work with Revlon, Clairol, Macy's, Lord & Taylor, Victoria's Secret Fit and Showroom, more than 70 magazine covers, commercials, and numerous national and regional campaigns.
After years in front of the camera, AK successfully transitioned from modeling into the business side of this spectaular industry.
