About this Event
Join us at San Diego's seventh annual meet-up for Palliative Care professionals, students, educators, and administrators. This event is geared to palliative care professionals, across disciplines, with a daylong program of speakers, panels, and breakout sessions. Our program will address issues of access and quality in palliative care, with a focus on communication and planning between providers, patients, and families. Our goal is to enhance the profile, availability, and impact of palliative care in our region, from the point of diagnosis forward. We'll share tactics to expand public awareness of palliative care among patient populations. We'll discuss efforts to improve the quality of multidisciplinary palliative care in our region and ensure broader access to palliative care across care settings. We'll examine strategies to improve communication between patients, families, and palliative care providers, particularly in advance care planning.
This year's registration fee is greatly discounted thanks to the generous support of the CSU Shiley Haynes Institute for Palliative Care. Take advantage of our early bird pricing for a nearly 50% discount off of past years' registration costs!
Presented by the San Diego Coalition for Compassionate Care and the CSU Shiley Haynes Institute for Palliative Care at CSUSM. Breakfast, lunch, beverages and desserts are provided with your registration fee. Please register today!
