We will be running a 6-week mindfulness group for children ages 8-12 beginning October 19. As children return to school, we sometimes notice heightened challenges with emotion regulation and behaviours. If you have a child who has a hard time regulating their emotions, this group might be a great fit. Over the course of the six weeks, we will be teaching children how to recognize their emotions in order to support them in communicating them more effectively, effective self-regulation strategies and ways to remember to use them when they need them, and we will provide parents with supportive resources to help them support their children in learning, practicing, and maintaining the skills they learn. Registration fee: $300
Date/Time: Beginning October 19 at 11am, weekly for six weeks
