Mindfulness gives us a way to relate to experience - even difficult things - that can free us from unhelpful habits. Instead of reacting with anxiety, aversion, overwhelm or craving we can learn to respond with compassion, free from judgement and blame. This simple session invites you to relax, sit with curiosity and presence, and be yourself, just as you are.
This session is led by Leeds Mindfulness Co-Operative and is a women only session, and part of a women's day in the 2024 Leeds Mindfulness Festival. No prior experience of attending this type of session before is necessary. It will take place in the Gatehouse at Abbey House Museum. Booking essential (eventbrite).
