Find peace and serenity that exists around us and within us while paddling on the Haw River. Meditation increases focus, calmness, patience, consciousness, and clarity. It does not have to be about sitting for hours in an uncomfortable position. It can be a relaxing paddle and immersion in Nature.
When we surrender through meditation, getting out of our heads and into our hearts, our life flows much easier – just like a river. Meditation is about living with awareness. Being in Nature is one way to become truly present in the moment, becoming mindful, enjoying our surroundings, and reducing stress or tension.
On this guided trip, we will paddle up the gentle Saxapahaw Lake section of the Haw, being mindful with each paddle stroke. At the head of the lake, we will seclude ourselves in a wild & beautiful cove for a period of quiet meditation, before paddling back to the dock with renewed mindfulness.
