This group work promotes the concept of Mindfulness Walking - a form of mindful movement which uses the everyday activity of walking as a mindfulness practice to help you become more aware of the sensations in your body.
By tuning into your environment and the sensations in your body as you walk, it can help you to focus on the present moment. Being outdoors and mindfully using all five senses – touch, sight, hearing, smell, and taste has many health benefits.
This activity is to encourage a greater sense of wellbeing and an active healthy lifestyle. We especially welcome those who have been in isolation and are ready to gentle integrate back into their communities at a pace which feels right to them .
