About this Event

Description

A practical and accessible session focused on developing mindful tools to manage stress in daily life. Participants will be introduced to simple practices such as breathwork, body scans, and grounding techniques designed to support clarity and calm.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the session, participants will have practical mindfulness tools they can draw on daily to reduce stress, support focus, and restore calm.


Who Should Participate?

This training applies to everyone. This is an elective for the Case Management Training Program. The trainings in the program were designed to support the development of knowledge and practice in Case Management among family support organizations and to enhance the Case Management capacity within family support programs. Presenter

With nearly a decade of experience as a mindfulness practitioner, Orlando White is certified by the globally recognized Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute.

Orlando is a member of the Changing Work Collective and will be featured in the collective's forthcoming book, set to be released in early 2025. He has led mindfulness workshops and trainings for organizations such as LinkedIn, Applied Materials, Hamilton Families, and the San Francisco Department of Public Health. His work has earned him two Certificates of Honor from Mayor London Breed, the Engagement & Inclusion Pacesetter Award from Human Rights Director Sheryl Davis, and features in the San Francisco Chronicle, the San Francisco Business Times, and other publications.
