Mindful Resolutions® is providing a one-day, in-person training for Oklahoma Multidisciplinary Teams (MDTs) and youth-based professionals focused on Mindful Negotiation and Youth De-escalation. This interactive training equips MDT members with practical tools to navigate high-stakes youth cases, manage conflict across systems, and strengthen trauma informed collaboration. Grounded in the proprietary S-R-C Method™ (Search–Relate–Communicate™) and the Pause Before You Pop Plan™, this framework supports professionals in responding to youth and families with clarity, composure, and accountability—even under pressure.
This one-day intensive blends practical instruction, scenario-based simulations, and guided application.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
1. Understand the S-R-C Method™ in MDT Environments
• Identify underlying interests, triggers, and systemic stressors
• Build rapport across agencies and with youth/families
• Communicate clearly and constructively during conflict
2. Strengthen Mindful Negotiation Skills
• Reduce adversarial dynamics in multidisciplinary meetings
• Navigate emotionally charged discussions
• Increase collaborative problem-solving
3. Improve Youth De-escalation Practices
• Recognize physiological and behavioral signs of escalation
• Implement in-the-moment regulation tools
• Redirect conflict while maintaining youth dignity
4. Enhance Professional Self-Management
• Practice quick reset techniques during difficult conversations
• Identify early signs of burnout
• Apply sustainable stress-reduction strategies
