Mindful Nature Journaling Hike / Pugsley Creek Park (Bronx)
About this Event
We'll walk through Pugsley Creek Park from the starting meet up spot on Snakapins path to Wappinger trail, which will lead us to Castle Hill Point to a vista overlooking where Westchester Creek meets the East River with Whitestone and Throggsneck Bridges beyond. This walk is flat and mostly paved.
MEET UP LOCATION:
We'll meet at the corner of O'Brien and Stevens Ave (see pictures below) where the trail begins. Street parking is available along these streets. If you're taking a car service tell the driver the address: 252 Stephens Avenue, Bronx, NY.

engage participants with nature threefold; the hike immerses us in natural surroundings, the meditation quiets the nervous system, and the journaling provides the means to closely observe and connect more deeply with nature.
Jessica Dalrymple is a Brooklyn based eco-artist, teacher, and horticulturist. She leads events in NYC green spaces and has taught for nature forward organizations including: Greenway Botanical Garden, Gowanus Dredgers, The Old Stone House Brooklyn, Human Impacts Institute, The Gowanus Canal Conservancy, Molly Oliver Flowers, Remedies Herb Shop, Trestle Art Space, and more.
