Please join Crim Fitness Foundation Mindfulness team members in in-person Mindful Me -Developing a Personal Practice. This full-day interactive practice will be at the Gloria Coles Flint Public Library on Friday, August 2, 2024, from 10am to 3pm. Please prepare to attend the whole session.

This Mindful Me will focus on developing small calming breathing practices and activities that will lead anyone to build on a consistent self-developed approach that can give them mindful practice tools to create a more open and quiet outlook.
Learn more about mindfulness, its brain science, and how to use mindful practices to cultivate well-being and a healthy stress response. We will "try on" many approaches and engage in group discussion. Come with an open mind and open heart.
Transportation / Parking Information/ Accessibility:
The Gloria Coles Flint Public Library is family-friendly, conveniently located, and accessible by public transportation. Please visit the Mass Transit Authority to plan your bus route. The closest stop on the primary Route #6 Lewis-Selby is Kearsley and Crapo, a 3-minute walk from the building. If you have your own transportation, the Flint Public Library has marked accessible parking spaces in the lot, two of which are extra wide to accommodate a transport van.
The south entrance from the parking lot is fully accessible through curb cuts and gentle slopes. The Kearsley Street doors are accessible through a gently sloping path up and across the terrace to the entry doors. Both entrances have automatic doors.
