Mindfulness is the purposeful cultivation of wise and affectionate attention in the present moment. When mindful awareness is brought into relationship with works of art, it provides a means to notice more deeply how art moves and imbues us with moments of awe, wonder, and emotional resonance.
Join us for this hour-long gathering as we collectively explore and contemplate selected works of art from the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art's permanent collection.
