Wondering what hypnosis is all about? No, you won’t squawk like a chicken (stage hypnosis is great but is intended for entertainment purposes) while clinical hypnosis is about positive change and reaching your goals. Hypnosis is very natural and we all go into hypnosis many times during the day. If you have ever read a book and got “lost” in it and found yourself right in the scenes, or if you have been deeply engrossed in a movie where you jumped at certain scenes, or if you have ever driven somewhere and got to your end destination and said, “wow, I don’t remember driving half of my drive,” those are all examples of natural states of hypnosis.

Many people wonder the difference between meditation and hypnosis. Although they appear to be similar, meditation is about relaxing your mind and your body so you can be present in the current moment. Hypnosis is like meditation but with utilization, meaning that with a heightened sense of focus and awareness you can connect with the subconscious mind to experience the goals you desire.
