About this Event

Join us as we bring you along on a Sketch Walk taking place in the Little Burgundy neighborhood led by visual artist Cat Lau.

🚶Walks are a great way to get in touch with your surroundings and move with intention. They can also be used as a daily tool to maintain mental wellness. Walks promote the release of endorphins, which overall improve your mood and reduce stress levels.

✏️ Drawing during this sketch walk offers you a way to visit paths and streets through a more present state. This sketch walk presents you with a moment to let yourself play and let go of expectations while drawing. Be present in the moment, and appreciate every stroke you make as part of the process. The goal is to detach yourself from perfection and accuracy, and hone in on what you notice and how you feel.
We will travel at an easy pace and make stops at interesting spots throughout the two hour period. At the end of the walk, we will discuss our experience and the process of creation at our last stop, Café Ma Bicyclette  💭
