About this Event
The Memphis Medical District Collaborative (MMDC) is gearing up for "Money Moves: Fueling your Growth and Securing Capital" to be held on Tuesday, June 9th, @ 4:00 pm. The "Mind Your Business" series is an educational platform of classes taught by subject matter experts to assist small business owners and entrepreneurs to scale with the skills for business cycle planning, marketing strategies, workforce building, business financials and taxes, and succession planning.
Ready to scale your business but not sure where the funding is hiding? Join us for "Money Moves: Fueling your Growth and Securing Capital" an exclusive event designed to demystify the funding landscape for ambitious entrepreneurs. Scotty Hendricks of Freedmen's Financial Group will discuss the financial blind spots business owners miss and what many entrepreneurs discover too late about protecting and building wealth. Many entrepreneurs unintentionally focus on income and growth while overlooking key areas that impact long term wealth, protection, and legacy. Attendees will walk away with practical insights on building a business while also building personal financial stability and long term opportunity.
Ready to secure capital? LaBreda Morrow from Southern Bancorp Community Partners will provide an inside look at Southern Bancorp’s small business offerings so you can take your next steps with confidence. She is breaking down the lending process to help you get fund-ready. Attendees will learn exactly what lenders look for by exploring the "5 Cs of Credit"—capital, credit, conditions, collateral, and capacity. She will also share how to prepare essential documentation, including financial statements and business plans.
