About this Event
Berkeley Food Institute invites UC Berkeley alumni to an on-campus screening of the critically acclaimed film, Minari (2021) on Friday, July 26 from 6 to 8PM in Hearst Field Annex room A1. Directed by Lee Isaac Chung, Minari is a semi-autobiographical film that captures the experience of an immigrant Korean family in the 80’s who navigate life and farming in rural Arkansas. We welcome UC Berkeley alumni and current students interested in food systems to hold community together and connect over a shared love of food and farming justice and good movies.
Doors open at 5:30 PM PST
Runtime 1 hour 55 minutes
This event is open to all UC Berkeley alumni, current students, faculty and staff. Due to our venue's capacity limit, we can only open this to the UC Berkeley community. Please stay tuned for our upcoming public events to be shared on our website (food.berkeley.edu).
