About this Event

Mina Nystad is a musician and songwriter from the South-East Coast of Norway. A recent graduate and scholarship recipient of both Berklee College of Music and the New England Conservatory, Mina released her 10-track debut-album "Raining Away" in June, 2024, and continues to perform her music in New York and Norway. Mina's music embodies heartfelt storytelling. Blending jazz, singer/songwriter, soul and folk influences, she draws inspiration from the Great American Songbook and the old classics - to contemporary jazz. She will mostly be performing music from the new recording album she is working on.

Anouk Chemla is a French-Iranian vocalist and composer from Paris. A graduate of the New England Conservatory, she combines her classical piano training from the Conservatory in Paris with a deep connection to jazz and contemporary music. She has performed at venues including the Philharmonie de Paris, La Boule Noire, and the Panama Jazz Festival. In 2025, she was selected for the prestigious Betty Carter's Jazz Ahead program at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. She is currently developing her debut EP of original music, inspired by her move from Paris to the United States at age eighteen.
