Kat Aragon is a Celebrity Hair and Makeup Artist and licensed Esthetician with over 25 years of experience. She began her career in her mom’s salon, where she initially founded her own makeup line, Makeup Is Art. She later retired the line when she discovered the opportunity to introduce her clients to the same professional products she uses on set for on-camera and event jobs. After leaving the salon, Kat transitioned into full-time makeup work for photography, press, fashion week, and red carpet events through her NY agencies. She eventually became the Senior Hair and Makeup Artist for CNN in Washington, DC, and served as a core educator for her peers at The Makeup Show across the country.
Now retired from the corporate world and working as a full-time freelance artist who owns a photo studio and skincare studio, Kat is passionate about educating others on how to simplify the often intimidating world of makeup.
