About this Event

What's the difference between a volcano and a mountain? Why do earthquakes happen? What kind of weather comes from space? Let’s go on a global adventure and find out!

Meet Mimi and the Did-You-Know Club, a group of friends searching for the world’s most too-strange-to-be-true, amazing facts. But nothing could prepare them for Granny’s latest invention: a state-of-the-art hologram projector that gives Dave the Robot the power to beam them anywhere in an instant!

Join the adventure and explore some of the most extreme environments on (and above!) the Earth in the Institute of Physics’ new family-friendly exhibition: Mimi and Friends’ Big Earth Adventure.

Get hands-on with fun physics experiments for all the family, be creative with arts and crafts activities, and meet our wonderful physicists to find out how physics makes the world go round.

Perfect for families with children ages 5-11.
