✨Milonguita Tango Bliss — November Edition 💃🕺Let’s dance with connection, joy, and community in a cozy atmosphere at the Upstairs Studio at Karuna!
Join us for an evening of Tango Bliss with hostess Cyla Bagolan and DJ Gustavo Fernandez.
🕓 Schedule:
7:00–8:00 PM — Tango Conditioning & Warm-Up with Cyla
We’ll begin the evening by getting our tango bodies ready to dance at our best.
This class includes solo and partner exercises to improve flexibility, agility, balance, torsion, and pivoting technique.
8:00–11:00 PM — Milonguita
Enjoy a cozy and friendly evening of dancing with mostly traditional Argentine tango music by DJ Gustavo Fernandez.

About Us...
Cyla Bagolan is a lifelong dancer from Brazil with a background in Argentine Tango, ballet, jazz, modern, samba, and West African dance, as well as yoga and flow arts. For the past 15 years, she has devoted herself to tango, teaching and organizing events for over a decade.
With a Master’s in Education and over 15 years of experience teaching mathematics at the high school and college levels, Cyla brings a deep understanding of how people learn to her tango teaching. Her classes blend structure and creativity, emphasizing clarity, connection, and body awareness.
She is also a hula hoop dancer and flow artist, known for her playful yet mindful warm-ups that enhance balance, coordination, and freedom of movement. Cyla’s teaching invites dancers of all levels to explore tango with curiosity, joy, and confidence.
Gustavo Fernandez has been dancing tango socially since 2000, when he began in his native Argentina, studying with teachers such as Veronica Gai, Daniel Nacucchio, Lucas Galera, Fabian Peralta, Carolina del Rivero, and Fabian Salas, among others. An alumnus of the Hartt School of Music, Gustavo earned his Master of Music in Classical Guitar in 2007 and has taught tango for the Ministry of Tourism in Mendoza, Argentina, the Community Division of the Hartt School, the Yale Tango Club, and the Tango Huskies at UConn.
Gustavo values both traditional tango roots and modern innovation that moves the dance forward. He is also a music producer, creating original electronic tango tracks under the name Gustavo Noli.
