On Friday 25th October, critically acclaimed stand-up comedian and podcaster Milo Edwards brings his much praised new show Sentimental to Number 57.Milo Edwards is a 30-year-old orphan but why does that matter? In the bigger picture it’s probably a small matter. Still, he’s sentimental about it, and a few other things, despite what people might tell you… ‘A lack of sentimentality’, wrote the Chortle reviewer. Aside from that, Milo’s Edinburgh shows frequently sell out amid 5 star reviews, his podcasts attract big name guests and thousands of listeners, and his joke writing skills have seen him hired by Mock The Week, Breaking The News, The News Quiz and Private Eye.
Praise for Sentimental:
"Some of the toughest subject matter dealt with in an incredibly skilful, life-affirming, and uplifting way" - The Wee Review ★★★★★
"A great comedian" - Broadway Baby ★★★★★
"Frequently uproarious, with greased up machine-tooled gags rattling out across the hour giving very little space for breath" - Chortle ★★★★
“Milo Edwards returns to the Fringe this year with a show” - The Comic’s Comic ★★★★
2023 Recommended Fringe Shows to See - British Comedy Guide

**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY**
• Tickets can be refunded or exchanged no less than 24 hours before the show.
• Line-ups can be subject to change at short notice.
• Doors open at 7pm, one hour before the start time of 8pm. Please arrive before the show starts but not before 7pm. Attendees who arrive late will not be granted admission or a refund.
• This is NOT a standing event. All audience members must be seated while the performance is underway, unless ordering at the bar or using the toilets. When ordering at the bar, please whisper.
• Entrance and exit is via the side door only; please wait outside at the door for ticket check and to be seated by the doorman.
• You will probably have to share a table. You may not be able to sit together if the remaining chairs available are spread out. If you are particular about seating we recommend arriving as early as possible.
• Seats in the front half of the room must be filled before seating in the back half is allocated.
• Seating in the alcove at the back is reserved for the comedians and their guests only.
• Don’t talk or heckle during the performances. This rule is NOT optional. It is very distracting for both the performer and other audience members. Some performers (usually the host) might talk to the audience, but otherwise please let the comedians do the talking. Heckling does not ‘help the show’. Think of it like cinema rules: laughter, cheers, applause are all great, but talking or yelling out is not. And another cinema rule…
• Please put your phone on silent. Photos are fine but please no video or flash photography.
• If your chair is not facing the stage when you come in, please rotate it when the show starts.
• These shows are for people aged 18 and over. Due to licencing 17 year olds can attend accompanied by a parent or guardian, but we cannot allow entry to those aged 16 and under, accompanied or not. You may be asked to show ID if you do not look of age.
• Comedy Dundee does not necessarily agree or disagree with the opinions and viewpoints expressed by the comedians. Acts are booked based on their ability to make people laugh, beyond that we respect freedom of expression. If you disagree or are offended by what you hear, you are free to express this by not laughing, by leaving, or by respectfully raising your objections with the act after the show or via social media. You may not interrupt an on-going performance.
• Audience members who repeatedly break these rules will be asked to leave.
