Join us for a FREE Family Fun day in Milltownpass to celebrate the Milltown River as part of Heritage Week events across the country.The Family Fun Day, which kicks off at 2pm, will include a host of fun activities. The TidyTowns Committee will be on-hand to share information about their ongoing river enhancement project with kick sampling and invertebrate demonstrations to investigate the local water quality. There will be face painting, inflatables for all ages, food, ice cream and much more!
The event is funded by the Community Water Development Fund 2024 and Westmeath County Council. As a result it’s free to attend so come along for an action packed and fun filled day for all the family!
