The Millstadt Optimist Club is thrilled to be hosting a new event for the children of Millstadt: The Bike Rodeo Bicycle Safety Event! This event is entirely FREE for children in the 8th grade and younger that currently reside within the Millstadt CCSD #160 School District to enjoy. The Bike Rodeo will take place on Saturday, April 27th, 2024, from 9:00AM to Noon in the parking lot at 100 East Washington St. Millstadt, IL (White Oak Packaging, formerly Mertz Millstadt). Registration for this event includes the following:
- Bicycle helmet for participating child
- Bike Rodeo 2024 t-shirt for participating child
- Lunch provided by Ott’s Tavern/Millstadt Fish Stand for participating child
- Bicycle course ** Bring your own bicycle to participate.
- Bicycle raffle
- Attendance prizes
- Bicycle safety checks by The Cyclery and Fitness Center ** Bring your own bicycle to participate.

- Face painting by the Millstadt Library
