Overlooking a secluded valley, this garden includes large mixed borders containing over 3000 varieties of perennials, shrubs and trees, many of which are unusual and drought tolerant. The garden includes an ornamental pond surrounded by mainly white planting, featuring a cedar-roofed summer house. Dry stone-walled terraces lead to a Laburnum tunnel and extensive colour-themed borders.
Spring and early summer interest is provided by bulbs, wildflower meadow and small woodland. Bog garden, vegetable garden and wildlife lakes.
Plant sales from the nursery, homemade teas, and dogs welcome.
This is the last year this wonderful garden will open for the National Garden Scheme, so we hope many people will take the opportunity to visit.
Admission: Adult £5 Child by donation.
Also open Sun 21 Aug.
