A peaceful & compassionate gathering of mothers and allies of mothers to stand behind the safe use of psychedelics for better mental health.
About this Event

During this unprecedented and largest psychedelic gathering in history, Millions of Moms is sending out the call to all mothers in the Colorado area and at PS2023 to gather in person outside the Colorado Convention Center to declare publicly:

  1. I stand behind and proudly use psychedelic medicine to support my mental health
  2. I demand better research and laws in the US so that we may all have fair and equitable access.

Short speeches will be given by several Millions of Moms founders and other top psychedelic leaders attending PS2023.

The event will culminate in a group photo to be distributed to media outlets and shared on social media, and mothers are encouraged to attend the final day of the conference together.

This is a peaceful, sober event. All ages are welcome.

NOTE: THIS GATHERING IS OPEN TO ANY MOTHER OR ALLY OF MOTHERS, REGARDLESS IF YOU'RE ATTENDING PS2023. This is our time to come out of the psychedelic closet and stand together in community! It is also possible that there will be day passes available for the final day of PS2023 at a very reduced cost - we will be updating information as we have it, so you may be able to make a day of it and attend the conference if you wish!

Are you a company wanting to partner with us for this event? We're hoping to give away free tee shirts to all attendees if we can gather enough contributions from aligned allies. For more information on how we can support YOU in supporting US please email momsonmushrooms.portalATgmail.com

The Millions of Moms Mission:

To create a community of mothers and allies of mothers who lead with compassion and advocate for better, more innovative solutions to the growing mental health crisis in the US through the development and advancement of psychedelic medicines. To destigmatize any negativity around mothers who practice the intentional use of psychedelics or other non-traditional healing practices for better well-being. To unify mothers around one central goal: the highest and best good of all.

Why Moms??

The Overlooked Stakeholders

Since the first psychedelic revolution in the 60’s, mothers have been largely sidelined in the psychedelic conversation, despite being a key demographic for both therapeutic usage and advocacy. Today's mental health crisis crosses all races and socioeconomic statuses, impacting mothers and consequently the entire family. This crisis led to the birth of our mission: Empowering a compassionate community of mothers and their allies to champion responsible use of psychedelic medicines as innovative solutions to the US mental health crisis.

The Personal Perspective

As mothers and founders of Moms on Mushrooms and the Psychedelic Medicine Coalition, we've seen the deficiencies in our healthcare system. Traditional medications, like SSRIs, often fail to provide mothers with the support they need for their mental health journey, sometimes even bringing harmful side effects. Many mothers have found relief through the safe and intentional use of psychedelic medicine. We believe that these mothers shouldn’t go to J*il because of their healing choices. This is part of our commitment to destigmatizing these practices and fostering mental wellbeing for all, with an emphasis on advocacy, inclusivity, and impact.

The Need for Choice

We're not against traditional medicine. Rather, we advocate for accessible, varied, and safe mental health solutions, including psychedelic medicine. We challenge the outdated concept of “mommy’s little helper” and the notion that mothers can numb their stress with wine or valium but can't responsibly explore psychedelics as a mental health solution.

The Historical Context

Raising children has always been a formidable task, mentally, physically, and spiritually. Historically, women leaned on tribes, smaller communities, and other caregivers for support. As our culture becomes more divided, the need for community support is greater than ever - when parents aren't well, our children aren't well, either. This has driven our vision: a world where all mothers across the United States have the freedom and support to choose stigma-free, innovative mental health solutions. We foresee a future where mothers, healthcare providers, natural health practitioners, our indigenous leaders, and policymakers unite to advocate for responsible mental health practices, striving for a significant positive impact on our mental health landscape.
