A fun day deconstructing traditional hats and reusing materials to construct contemporary designs. You will use straw, felt, Petersham, wire and trimmings to create modern structural designs. You will learn the skills of blocking, manipulating and wiring/stiffening materials and use your creative skills and imagination to make yourself a fabulous headpiece to wear!
