The lowa City live music community that thrived on having The Mill as it's heart and soul for so many decades he struggling to maintain a regular live music experience since early 2020.No venue will ever touch any of us the same way The Mill did for so many years, but many musicians and suppor would like to have a live music community with a regular venue.
We are privileged to provide a regular venue for live music in downtown lowa City and sponsor a Mill Revival weekend showcase series at our bar & restaurant. Please attend as many of the six December weekend showcases at La wine bar as you would like to, and please help spread the word.
This is a series of 6 live music shows with different local musicians and bands for each date at La Wine Bar and Restaurant (next door to the former Mill Restaurant location).
All shows begin at 730 pm.
No Cover Charge. All Ages.

With continued support, we plan on adding some weeknight artist residency performances and some open mic nights, plus another series of weekend showcases beginning in late January.
