MILKLAB Barista Battle: Sydney

We’re excited to be back celebrating baristas in all their masterful, latte art pouring glory – And we want to see them do this using the MILKLAB range of plant-based barista milks!

Join us in Sydney at The Goodsline for the ultimate latte art smackdown where you could win the chance to rep your state at the finals at Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE).

The winner of the Australian final at MICE will be invited to become a MILKLAB Master Barista and go on to compete in the international final against MILKLAB Master Baristas from other countries for the chance to win a trip for two to London Coffee Festival 2023!

THE BATTLE - 24 baristas. 4 rounds. 1 winner.

Baristas compete head-to-head in a bracket-style knock-out tournament. The best pour, as decided by our expert panel of judges, will go on to the next round.

We will have spare jugs available for you to use but you're welcome to bring your own jugs. Rules will be emailed to competitors.

PRIZES

1st Place: A pass to MICE to represent your state at the national final, plus we'll pay for your flights & accommodation to Melbourne for 3-nights.

2nd Place: $200 MasterCard gift card

3rd Place: $100 MasterCard gift card

All competitors will also get a MILKLAB merch pack ?

There will be food, drinks, spot prizes & giveaways throughout the night, so you won’t be leaving empty handed!

Competitor tickets go live on Thursday 7th July 2022 at 5:00pm AEST. All competitor ticket sales will be donated to the Wise Barista Program, to help support the training of individuals facing barriers to employment to become baristas.
