Milk & Honey Whisky Tasting With Shilton Almeida

Milk & Honey Distillery was founded in the city of Tel Aviv in 2014 under the guidance of the late Dr Jim Swan.

The Mediterranean climate which provides the city with an average of 300 sunny days a year allows the whisky to mature at a faster rate than what you'd usually experience with Scottish and Irish whiskies.

In addition to the typical maturations we usually see in the whisky world such as ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry cask maturation, the distillery has been turning out some unusual stuff such as whisky matured in ex-pomegranate wine casks and also whisky that has been matured on the edge of the dead sea, which sees the casks exposed to consistently high temperatures and salty air.

For this tasting we'll be trying 3 whiskies from the standard M&H range, and 3 whiskies from the APEX range (more high end stuff).

The tasting will take place on Friday 19th of August at 8pm, and will cost £22 per person (that works out at just £3.83 per dram!).
