About this Event

NATIONAL NURSES WEEK CELEBRATION

A tribute to the rich legacy of nursing and the strength of nurses across the generations.

The Military Women’s Memorial will host a landmark event on May 8th at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C., to honor the extraordinary contributions of nurses, past and present.

Join us in celebrating the courage, dedication, and service of healthcare professionals—from the early trailblazing nurses of the Army and Navy Nurse Corps, Red Cross, and Cadet Nurse Corps, to today’s devoted caregivers serving in the military, Public Health Service, and in communities across America.

With the Daughters of the American Revolution's enduring connections to our Nation's remarkable legacy of nursing, DAR Constitution Hall is a meaningful location for our community to come together in celebration of National Nurses Week.
