Military Kids Appreciation Day at IKEA College Park

At IKEA College Park, we would like to recognize the sacrifice and strength of our military families. April is the designated month of the military child. On April 15th, Purple Up! For Military Kids Day, IKEA College Park will honor our littlest heroes and their families with a day full of food, fun and activities. We invite customers to wear purple to show support and thank military children for their strength and sacrifices.

• IKEA Restaurant Military Kids Appreciation Day offer To celebrate Purple Up! Day for military kids, all day in the IKEA Restaurant, get 2 FREE kid's meals with the purchase of any adult entrée' valued up to $12.99. Military ID required. Must be an IKEA Family member. For children 12 and under.

• IKEA College Park Military Child Friendship Quilt! Show us your strength and make a square for our Military Child’s Friendship quilt! The quilt will hang outside of Smaland for all in our community to view. Location: IKEA Restaurant Time: 12p – 5p . Click here to RSVP

• Celebrating our military superheroes! Heroes come in all shapes and sizes. Celebrate Purple Up! Day with a special photo at our Purple Up! Day photo booth. Location: IKEA Restaurant Time: 12p - 5p. Click here to RSVP

• Wear Purple and get a sweet treat! Purple is the color formed when all military branches combine colors. So, Purple Up! Children who wear purple on April 15th will receive a voucher for a FREE sweet treat in our Bistro. We suggest the strawberry soft ice cone- it is Purple!

Open to children of active-duty military and veterans. A military ID card (active/reserve/retired) and IKEA Family card must be shown at check-in to receive voucher for free meal. Registration is required.
