ABOUT SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY’S IVMF
Syracuse University’s D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) is the first national institute in higher education focused on advancing the lives of the nation’s military, veterans, and their families. The IVMF delivers leading national programs in career and entrepreneurship education and training, while conducting actionable research, policy analysis, and program evaluation. The D’Aniello Institute also supports communities to ensure service members, veterans, and their families can easily and successfully navigate to care, resources, and services in the place they call home. These services, in turn help veterans and their families sustain healthy, productive, and economically stable lives following separation from the armed forces. Over the last ten years, more than 192,000 transitioning service members, veterans, and their families have leveraged the IVMF’s portfolio as a bridge from military to civilian life.
