A big thank you and salute to all the proud men, women, and their families that proudly serve our nation in the armed forces. The Montgomery Zoo and Mann Wildlife Learning Museum invites all active duty and retired military personnel to visit the zoo for free on Military Appreciation Days, June 15-17. Maxwell Air Force Base, MAFB Gunter Annex, the City of Montgomery, the Montgomery Zoo, the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce, and local sponsors partner to hold this annual event that recognizes our nation’s men and women in military service.This time-honored tradition allows Central Alabama to honor our local hometown heroes and their families. Every year, more than 2,000 military officials and their families attend this popular appreciation day event at the Montgomery Zoo. This special event is a special time to connect with the men, women and families who serve our nation.
Daily admission includes:
Admission to the Montgomery Zoo
Admission to the Mann Wildlife Learning Museum
Petting Zoo (viewable from the outside of the display)
Parakeet Cove (viewable from the outside of the display)
