Milestones is BACK! and we’re down in the old room of Toolmakers’ Brewery here in Sheffield for our smaller scaled, Sunday afternoon of jazz dance for a more intimate end-of-the-year throw down.
We’ve got the impeccable Nick Schlittner from Come Sunday - a monthly session in the motherland of jazz dance (Birmingham ofc!) that has snowballed since starting in 2023 and is easily the most fierce yet friendly session outside of the capital that really shows what jazz dance IS!
Whilst having all the greats there as guests over the last few of years (Paul Murphy, Colin Curtis, Perry Louis and Patrick Forge to name a few); there’s no-one quite like Nick to give you a no gimmick, proper lesson in the straight stuff that is deeper than deep. We’re over the moon to have Nick up with a primetime slot to show how it’s done by a true lead in today’s scene.
We’ll also have a special guests that we’ll confirm closer to the time (maybe a local legend or another out-of-towner… you’ll see!)… What we do know is you’ll have hosts Ashley Grimshaw ignoring all the rules in playing the warm up and James Tsirikos feeding the floor for the final soulful stint of the eve.
