After being diagnosed with Leukemia on June 4, 2014, Megan Haynes was ready to fight the battle and fight is what she did. Megan created Megan's Mission to bring awareness to Leukemia. Megan lost her battle on January 26, 2015 at the age of 20. Her parents promised to keep her dream alive by continuing her work with Megan's Mission to bring awareness to Leukemia. They have established a scholarship in memory of their sweet Megan Lorraine and the proceeds from this run will go to fund that scholarship. Over the past 11 years they have given over $58,000 in scholarships! This is a family fun 5k so bring the whole family. T-shirts will be provided to the first 100 registered, forms can be emailed per request. Waiver must also be signed but can be done that morning as well. If you are waiting till Race Day to register, I still need your shirt size in advance to reserve.
