Mile of Music by Richmond Symphony at Maymont

Experience multiple mini-concerts featuring 4 Richmond Symphony ensembles along a ~1-mile-route within Maymont's beautiful natural setting on a summer evening. 🌳 At this FREE event, you can take your time to enjoy music and movement with family and friends!
👟 Wear your comfortable walking shoes to stroll between performances and bring a blanket or portable chairs to spread out across Maymont’s spacious landscape to hear acoustic performances featuring the Symphony’s talented musicians in 4 different groups of strings, wind, and brass instruments.
🎻 Ensembles will perform twice over 90-minutes at multiple locations including the Italian Gardens and outside the newly restored and reopened Maymont Mansion.
📍 Start at Maymont's Hampton Street entrance (1700 Hampton Street, Richmond, Virginia) for the best access to the route. Stay tuned for an exact route map and a schedule of ensemble performances!
